now u can update your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 To Android 5 lollipop using this Nightoul Beta 4 Rom.

PRE REQUIREMENTS:

• We recommend you to take a backup of the data in your phone. After installing the ROM, all the files and data will be deleted. Then you can restore it from the backup file. 
• SMS – Backup Messages
• Contacts – Sync with Gmail App 
• Videos, Images, Songs and Other Files – Copy to internal / External SD card or System 
• Then maintain minimum 60% charge in your phone’s battery. This will help you to don’t get switched of your phone. 
• And disable any antivirus and firewalls too.

How to install NightOwl Rom on Galaxy Note  :

• If you are running an custom Kitkat 4.4 Rom:

1. Download Carbon Rom and Gapp on your Computer.
2. Connect your device to PC and copy both the downloaded files to external SD card.
3. Now, Switch off your device and enter into Recovery Mode to do so: (Press and hold “Volume Up + Home + Power button” for a few seconds, until the screen flashes and then release all the buttons.)
4. Now Select “wipe data/factory reset“, then select “Yes” for confirmation and wait till the data wipe is complete.Factory Reset/ Clear cache (Recommended to avoid any FC or bootloops) (Updates from Beta1/2 should work without Factory reset)
5. Now come to the recovery main menu and select “Install zip from SD card” and give a path where you have placed the ROM for Samsung Galaxy Note.
6. As you select the installation will start and it will take 3-5 minutes to complete so don’t hesitate and let the installation to be completed.
7. Similarly, you can follow the previous step to Flash the kernel update for Beta4
8. and “Gapps“.
9. Once the flashing process gets over.  Select “++++Go Back++++” and then choose “reboot system” to reboot your phone.
10. Thats it ,The phone will take 10-15 minutes to start and initialize all the services and apps

• The steps to install it from an stock Samsung Rom :

If you have already an samsung 4.1.x running you can skip step 1

1. flash N7000ZSLR1  (or any other other 4.1.2) stock rom using odin
2. flash PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 (http://d-h.st/OTu) to get cwm recovery by using odin or mobile odin
3. Boot into recovery
4. flash this kernel https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95887005526788121 to get an updated cwm recovery
5. (this step will make your old rom unbootable stuck in the n7000 screen but you can boot into recovery with press and hold "home" and "volume+" buttons and power on your phone)
6. you need to reboot! your device now to recovery
7. you are now in the updated recovery and you can now install the rom and gapps and do an factory reset 
8. Flash the kernel update for Beta4
9. Reboot
